Quinces And Green Apple Leaves.

An autumn still life with heritage quinces. On the wooden table top are a ceramic plate heaped with ripe quinces and glazed ceramic jug with dark green apple leaves. These quinces are gathered in the Rivne Region, Western Ukraine. Quince is a fall fruit that grows in a manner quite like apples and pears. The simple arrangement was captured in soft natural light falling from top right (in chiaroscuro manner).
